VIDEOWORKSHOP recently wrapped location shooting on “The Prime School,” a documentary on a unique music school for children. Lighting cameraman Keith Page chose a Sony F900 Cine Alta 24P High Definition Camera for the project, with a lens package of Zeiss digiprimes and a Fujinon Super wide 4.5-59mm zoom.

VW producer Sally Sumner says the High Definition image is terrific. “The Prime School offers musical training scholarships to kids that otherwise might not have the opportunity. The high definition image really gives us the kind of dramatic pictures we needed for an emotional subject matter. It’s a filmic quality that audiences expect for this kind of story.
